Deciding to Enter

Ultimately, you'll decide for yourself if you feel this is the right film festival for you. The following is some information we hope proves useful in your decision making process.

- Strasbourg International Film Festival accepts both French and English language films in their original language without subtitles, as well as films from around the global which are subtitled in either French or English.

- Since Strasbourg International Film Festival is a new festival the competition for filmmakers will probably not be as stiff as it might be at other more established festivals allowing your film better odds for acceptance.

-Best of Fest wins $500. We are looking into other cash prizes as well.

-Awards given in several categories such as Best of Fest, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Short, Best Young Filmmaker, Best Documentary, Best Cinematography and Best Wardrobe. The Strasbourg International Film Festival understands it often takes more than a couple people to make a film. We want to give credit to the best projects out there and those who made it just a little better.
